Default Which is the best marker to start with?

This should settle all the reposting of threads that look much too similar...

If you see another gun which you feel is important please post and I will add it to the poll...

Feel free to discuss and compare markers to you're blue in the face. This is the place to ask which marker is better between two or more markers, or what's better for a certain price range.

LISTEN UP

I will not tolerate any flamming or crap. If you cant post pros/cons informativley then do NOT post.

I had to honestly vote for the Tippmann because for one you don't see too many players jump straight into speedball most jump into woodsball before anything. The reason I voted for the Tippmann is because you basically can throw this gun around, drop it in water, and never oil/lub it a single time after playing and it still works like new every time you take it out.

It's a great gun to begin with but for beginners in speedball I have to vote for a Smart Parts Ion. It's very easy to use, very customizable, and very fast for a stock gun.

BTW diggy, someone already made a thread about all the good starter guns.

I have to agree with asylum, I have a Tippmann 98 that I fell in a swamp with, and it still worked fine after we dried it out a bit. Cleaning the swamp gunk out wasn't fun, but, it's a nice sturdy marker, a little heavy, but not too much so.

exactly. Tippmans are extremely good for beginners but can ALSO be very good for intermediate players due to the amount of upgrades available.
